‘What the hell do I have to do with cows?’, is what she thought when she first came to a farm. Since then, HAS student Amarens has been working on an international career in farm management.
In 2016, HAS was named the best university of the Netherlands and with good reason! It's the foremost university for studies in the fields of agro, food and living environment. HAS boasts 3500 students, of which more than 400 are on the cozy campus in Venlo.

Fontys is Venlo's oldest and largest university of applied sciences. The 4000 students come from far around the world and you will hear that right when you enter the campus. English, Bulgarian, German and Chinese can be heard all in every hallway. This, of course, also offers the opportunity for awesome exchanges!

A unique three-year bachelor program, in which students from all over the world participate. The main difference with an 'ordinary’ bachelor programme is that at Univesrity College Venlo (UCV) you don't focus on only one field of studies.
