Holland is a small country with an excellent public transport system. Wherever you want to go, you can get there easily and in comfort by train, bus, or tram.
OV-chipcard
To use public transport (OV) in The Netherlands you need a OV-chipcard. You can buy this card online or at the service desk within the train station. Once charged you can use it in all public transportation. For more information about buying and topping up an OV-chipcard, check here.
Group tickets
The cheapest way to get around is to buy a group ticket. The NS Groepsretour is valid from 09.00 on working days, all day at weekends and on all public holidays except King’s Day (27 April). Check NS for more information and to purchase your group ticket.
