Bram studies Applied Biology at the HAS

The HAS in Venlo is a small-scale school, which means I have more personal contact with teachers.

Bram (20) is in his first year of Applied Biology at the Has in Venlo. He lives at home in Nunhem, a small church village in Limburg where everyone knows each other. What Bram likes so much about his study is that it is very practical and that excursions take you to all kinds of different places. What Bram likes so much about his study is that it is very practical and that excursions take you to all kinds of different places. In addition, it is a small-scale school, so you have more personal contact with teachers who will make time for you. When he has finished his studies, he would like to do something in the plant sector and specifically in the direction of seed breeding, which he is also doing at work. Seed breeding refers to the improvement of seeds in order to influence certain properties and to improve the quality.

Like many other students, Bram doesn't like the online lessons as much and he misses communication with fellow students. He is only allowed to go to school for some practicals and exams. The only advantage he does mention is that he has more time and can therefore work more. Bram also has a number of hobbies besides school. He likes to be outside for mountain biking, running and playing football. And in his spare time, he also plays tennis from time to time. Bram likes to be with friends and normally they go out in the weekend, but now sometimes they have a drink at someone's house.
