Giorgia follows a study with a focus on life sciences courses about nutrition and health

I am Giorgia, I am 21 years old, I am from Italy, and I live in Venlo. My hobbies are painting, reading, dancing, and singing. It is something that allow me to be free from thoughts and just be in the moment. At this moment, I study at University College Venlo with a focus on life science courses about nutrition and health. I chose this program because I am very interested in how human body works and the importance of nutrition in overall health. Furthermore, the programme inspired me because I am able to choose my own courses, and courses that are not related to my main focus. I really like this because I can have insights of other subjects as well.

I like Venlo. It does not really have too much distraction in terms of parties or events, so I can focus on my studies which the reason number 1 that brought me here. However, you can have your enjoyable free time as well with the people you like and your friends. With these people I like to go to Café Locomotief or John Doe when I want to party. When I am more in the mood for a coffee or if I need to study, places such as Milk & Cookies and Bagels & beans are the way to go!

Lastly, I would like to give you some tips! If you want to come to Venlo, you need to be aware that is a small city with all the things that a small city has. Moreover, there are many international students which give to this city a plus because you can always meet people with different background and cultures. Eventually, if you come here, go to eat the best pizza in town by Nena pizza. If I say this, trust me. I am Italian!
