Karma Koffie - a new student start up

Karma Koffie produces lemonade reusing spent coffee grounds

Karma Koffie is a Student Startup consisting of Patri, Thamar, Laura, and Marie who study together at Maastricht University - Campus Venlo. Karma koffie believes in the power of giving second chances and wants to contribute to a planet where food ingredients are given a second chance.

To achieve this, Karma Koffie produces lemonade reusing spent coffee grounds. These spent coffee grounds are a valuable waste, obtained from the production of coffee. Their ambition is to produce refreshing lemonades with a hint of coffee. However, they do not make another cup of coffee!

The company originated from a project for the Master Health Food Innovation Management at Maastricht University-Campus Venlo. Furthermore, they have already done their first sample tasting at the campus At this sample tasting, people could taste the two flavors (Sweet gingery apple & refreshing lemony cucumber) that they are currently developing.
